    F12 top speed?

    What should the top speed be for an F12? in the 53, 54mph range?

    My friends 07 F12s were reading 60mph top speed 2 years ago, and now they read 54. I GPSd them, and the speedometers are within 2 or 3 mph of the GPS reading. What would have caused the readings in the 60s? This happened to both of his F12s.

    What is the max rpm on each? You could have bad wastegate solenoids if rpm is low. If they are running 58 on gps then they are probably ok and have some minor impeller damage.

    In any case, a little wd-40 on the impeller wheel is good for a few mph.

    What should the max RPM be? And how do you check the wastegate solenoids?

    what is your max rpm on the digital gauge. That is an easy first check.

    I have 03 and got up to 52 Max first time on glass water.

    Usually I only see it go up to 50 only

    I have an 02 f-12x before Stage 2, was 59-60 and after 64, I heard it's off by about 3 mph thou. the guage that I have. Mine read 64, and someone on a seadoo his and was going 67. We were pretty much even, he had an 08. BTW superMAC is the man! lol

    I think Pacer is talking about non-turbo models.... hence he has no wastegate (or solenoids) to check. My F-12 non-turbo usually reads up to 55. I saw 57 yesterday with the wind... Obviously the water and the ski's overall weight with you on it make a bit of difference. I'm just a little guy!

    My 2007 has shown 60 MPH on the speedo a few times. No GPS verification though. I think what impresses me the most is how quick it comes out of the hole. It works great for launching off even small waves.
